[Even with being here for over a week, Luceti is strange to her. Oh it's all been explained, she's read the notes on everything, memorised it till she can repeat it verbatim. But it's not Earth, it's different and even though she's in a cage yet again it's not a cage that makes sense. She still has her freedom here, she's able to live her life and yet she will never be able to forget that she's a prisoner here.
The wings on her back only serve as further reminder that she is not here of her own free will, the left one still stunted slightly underneath her black tank top. An aversion to scientists and cages and changes to her body wasn't always a great thing, and it's only with a lucky intervention that she didn't manage to kill herself straight on arrival. But her healing had helped repair it faster then normal, and she tries her best to ignore them, ignore the itch in her skin all her senses alert whenever they shift.
For now though she's just watching, the sun bright overhead even though Laura tries her best to stick to the shadows, to be unnoticeable. The easiest way to learn more about a place is to learn more about it's inhabitants. See how they react to this prison and then later see what they have to say of it, and then slowly form a plan to get out.

This is X-23, also known as Laura Kinney. I have arrived recently, and while I have found some acquaintances, I am interested to see who else is from a world similar to mine. If you have heard of the X-men, reply to this.
